Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location

Warrensville Heights, OH | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13–20 week options) | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license — permanent Ohio license or compact state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• AHA BLS certification required and must be active and in hand at time of submission
• AHA ACLS certification required and must be active and in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required
• No open background case findings or license hits — background results are reviewed by the facility
• Locals accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience gained within a single location
• Demonstrated proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Experience working in a high-volume acute care hospital environment
