Job Summary:
A Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) registered nurse position is available in Austin, Texas. This contract role involves working nights in a fast-paced NICU environment requiring skilled and compassionate nursing care for neonatal patients. The position offers an opportunity to join a dedicated team providing high-level neonatal services.

Job Details:

• Location: 12221 N MOPAC EXPRESSWAY, Austin, Texas, 78758
• Shift: Nights, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/03/2026
• Qualifications:
  • Certification: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Education: Registered Nurse (RN) license required
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience
  • Immunizations: No nail polish or artificial nails are permitted; strict dress code requiring navy scrubs
• Required Skills:
  • Skilled in caring for neonatal patients within a Level 3 NICU setting
  • Ability to work night shifts efficiently in a dynamic and demanding environment
  • Prior experience with Meditech electronic medical records and CPN monitors
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with travel nursing, local Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), or sitters
  • Familiarity with procedures such as use of Medfusion pumps, Alaris infusion devices, Giraffe isolettes, and GE monitors
• Additional Information:
  • Candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in a Level 3 NICU setting
  • Suitability for the role includes a friendly, outgoing, and compassionate personality
