About the Position

Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: MRI Technologist Specialty: Diagnostic Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evening/Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: MRI certification required (ARRT) Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Basic knowledge of all MRI examinations Description: The role involves performing diagnostic MRI examinations for inpatients and outpatients. Technologists will utilize equipment including EPIC and Sectra, as well as a 1.5T MRI machine. A strong focus on teamwork and collaboration is emphasized within the department. Work will primarily consist of two 12-hour weekend shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Additional shifts may include two 8-hour second-shift weekdays from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. No floating to other departments unless additional hours are available. The unit operates in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with a variety of clinical experiences. Documentation is managed through electronic medical records. Technologists will work independently after initial orientation and alongside experienced colleagues for support. The department values exceptional patient care and continuous enhancement of MRI skills. Pewter scrubs are the required dress code. The emphasis is on maintaining a supportive and engaging workplace culture. Nursing staff ratios do not apply to this position.
