Senior Project Manager - USFHP

Description US Family Health Plan is a Department of Defense-sponsored health plan for uniformed services members, retirees, and their family members. Responsibilities Responsible for managing the following types of projects: Medium to high level complexity Increasing levels of criticality Medium to large sized projects (1,000+ effort hours) Internal application, system, implementation, process, technical, and other corporate level projects Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience in IT or a healthcare related field. 2 years of successful project management experience. 1 year of experience in healthcare information technology. MS Project experience required. Experience leading/managing project planning activities (WBS development, scope, schedule, budget, resource acquisition). 1 year of experience leading/facilitating all types of project meetings, including pre/post meeting activities. Experience leading collaborative, cross‑functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Upon hire: Project Management certification, or commitment to obtain certification. Project management experience in a healthcare setting. Experience managing multiple concurrent projects. Why Join Providence?
