Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support the operating room team at a busy hospital facility. The role involves assisting with a variety of surgical procedures within a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and maintaining sterile protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments and equipment according to procedure requirements.
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operative procedures by passing instruments and maintaining aseptic conditions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of surgical supplies, instruments, and procedural details.
• Adhere to strict safety, infection control, and sterilization protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Support perioperative team with equipment troubleshooting and ensuring all supplies are functional and ready for use.
• Follow unit policies and guidelines, including flexibility for shift changes, on-call duties, and procedural updates.

Qualifications:

• Certify as a Surgical Technologist (NBSTA and DORA certifications required).
• Demonstrate a minimum of 6 months of recent acute care hospital experience as a CST.
• Possess current BLS certification.
• Have surgical experience in Orthopedics, Neuro, or Transplant procedures is preferred.
• Show strong team collaboration skills and a high level of accountability.
• Be adaptable to day shift hours and on-call requirements.
