Machine Assembler | Ogden, UT

Nexeo Staffing is seeking an experienced Machine Assembler to join a manufacturing team in the Ogden, UT area. This position is ideal for someone with previous assembly, maintenance, or technician experience and a strong mechanical and electrical background. Candidates should be comfortable working with electrical components, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic PLC systems. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday opportunity with overtime available and plenty of room for growth.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical instructions.
• Assemble mechanical and electrical components used in manufacturing equipment.
• Build and wire electrical control panels according to specifications.
• Assemble and prepare electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Install wiring, switches, controls, sensors, and other electrical components.
• Work with hydraulic and pneumatic components and equipment.
• Assist with troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues during assembly.
• Perform basic testing and inspections to ensure proper assembly and functionality.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and other assembly equipment.
• Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in machine assembly, maintenance, industrial equipment, or a technician role preferred.
• Previous electrical experience or a strong understanding of electrical components and wiring.
• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic machinery or systems.
• Basic PLC knowledge or experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical/mechanical schematics.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Must be able to meet applicable background and drug screening requirements.

Pay

$20.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule

Full Time | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-4:00 PM

Overtime available as needed.
