Located in Littlefork, Minnesota, just a short 20-minute drive from International Falls, our cozy, faith-based care center offers compassionate skilled nursing care with a one-of-a-kind community environment where residents can find comfort in familiar faces and build lasting relationships.

The Administrator oversees the daily operations of the nursing home, ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and efficient facility management. He/She is also responsible for managing all aspects of a long-term care facility and overseeing the leadership team consisting of a Director of Nursing (DON), Human Resources Director (HDR), Activity Director and Social Services Designee, Dietary Manager and Environmental Services Supervisor. The Littlefork Care Center employs 60-70 employees. Key duties of the Administrator position may include:

• Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and facility maintenance, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of the nursing home.
• Resident Care: Ensure residents receive high-quality care, coordinate with medical professionals, and address resident and family concerns.
• Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations, including safety standards and quality-of-care requirements.
• Financial Oversight: Develop and manage budgets, oversee billing, monitor expenses, and ensure financial stability of the facility.
• Staff Leadership: Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff, fostering a professional and supportive work environment
• Policy Development: Create and implement policies and procedures to guide operations and improve resident care.
• Crisis Management: Prepare for emergencies, such as illness outbreaks, and coordinate appropriate responses.
