As a Security Officer Patrol Digital Records in Fredericksburg, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity and teamwork. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, healthcare facility policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, staff, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
