Quick Facts Location: Elkton, MD (Remote coverage from Union Hospital of Cecil County) Start Date: 09/09/2026 End Date/Duration: Ongoing assignment Shift: Swing shift (7 on/7 off, 5p-12a & 6p-2a), Overnight (12a-8a, 7 on/7 off) Hours/week: Approximately 40 hours/week Employment Type: Locum/Travel Assignment Licenses/Certifications: Must be licensed or willing to license in MD and at least 1-2 of these states: PA, OH, NC, FL Experience: Previous radiology experience in ER, MSK, Neuro, or Nuclear Medicine preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $234.00 Benefits Include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team committed to your success throughout your assignment What You’ll Do Provide remote radiology coverage across modalities including XR, CT, MR, US, NM Tackle a diverse case mix such as ER, MSK, Neuro, and Nuclear Medicine Interpret high-volume imaging cases, averaging 90-100 exams per shift Read and interpret emergent and complex cases, including stroke codes Work with EMR (EPIC), PACS (Merge), and dictation systems (Fluency) Maintain high productivity while adhering to quality standards Collaborate with hospital teams to ensure timely and accurate reports What You Need Active medical license or willingness to obtain licensure in MD and at least 1-2 of these states: PA, OH, NC, FL Availability to work scheduled shifts on a 7-on/7-off basis Proven experience reading stroke codes and high-acuity imaging cases Strong diagnostic skills in XR, CT, MR, US, or NM modalities Ability to work independently in a remote setting About the Assignment This remote position supports Union Hospital of Cecil County in Elkton, Maryland. You will be providing critical radiology coverage for a busy hospital environment, primarily focusing on emergency and complex cases.
