Dietitian - PT

Dietitian – Part‑Time (Future Opening) STGi is accepting resumes for Dieticians interested in providing future services at the VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Savannah, Tennessee. This part‑time position (M‑F normal hours, no weekends, holidays or on call) is contingent upon STGi being awarded the contract. Responsibilities Provide nutritional care for patients, including screening and patient education. Develop, implement, and monitor nutrition care plans based on physician diet prescriptions and nutritional assessments. Participate with health teams to integrate nutritional care into the total treatment program. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics, Food, Nutrition, Food Service Management, Institution Management or related science. Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (American Dietetic Association). Verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills. Minimum of one year of recent clinical nutrition experience. Previous clinical nutrition practice experience. Working Conditions / Physical Requirements Moderate physical activity; handling of average‑weight objects up to 25 pounds, standing and/or walking for more than four hours per day. Typical interior/office work environment. Ability to respond to medical emergencies within the clinic, which may require a fast walk or job.
