We are looking for: Medical Oncology Veterinary Assistant

Proposed Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:45AM - 4:15PM

This role has a hiring range of $17.00-28.00/hr based on experience.

Our Medical Oncology assistants thrive in a fast-paced environment, can multi-task, have high attention to detail and will gain experience in chemotherapy treatments.


What you'll do:

• Assist with chemotherapy treatments, requiring excellent venipuncture skills

• Coordinate and manage client communication via phone and email

• Manage appointments, obtain histories, invoicing, patient discharges, scheduling

• Accurate and thorough documentation in medical records

Who you are:

• Prior veterinary experience required, previous oncology experience desired

• Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)

• Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
