Senior Workday Developer

Salary: $70,000 - 105,000 per year Requirements:

• 5+ years of integration development experience, including at least 3 years of direct Workday integration development.
• Proven ability to design and implement enterprise-scale Workday integrations, including integrations with HCM, Payroll, Benefits, and/or Timekeeping systems and third-party applications.
• Experience supporting production integrations and resolving issues.
• Proficiency with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Orchestrate, and Extend, as well as REST/SOAP APIs, XML/XSLT, and SQL.
• Familiarity with Postman, Jira, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
• Strong communication, documentation, troubleshooting, analytical, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to ambiguity and shifting priorities, and manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced setting.
• Preferred: Workday implementation or consulting experience; experience with implementation partners such as KPMG, Deloitte, or Accenture; custom API development; legacy ERP-to-Workday migrations; mentoring junior developers; and work in large enterprise organizations.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and support Workday integrations for HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Timekeeping, and downstream enterprise applications.
• Build integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Orchestrate, and Extend, and work with REST/SOAP APIs, XML/XSLT, and SQL.
• Ensure integration solutions meet business, security, and performance requirements.
• Partner with HR Technology, Payroll, Benefits, ERP Development, Finance, Infrastructure, and Security teams, as well as implementation partners and external vendors.
• Gather requirements, contribute to solution design, support testing, provide technical guidance, and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot integration failures and production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain technical documentation, integration specifications, and support procedures; contribute to knowledge transfer and project handoff.

We are undertaking a major enterprise HCM and Payroll transformation, migrating from legacy Infor applications to Workday and UKG. This project-focused contract is expected to run approximately 5–6 months through implementation and stabilization. The role reports to our Manager, Development ERP, has no direct reports, and works closely with our ERP Development and business teams, external vendors, and implementation partners. We seek a collaborative, accountable, adaptable, and solution-focused contributor who is comfortable in a fast-paced transformation environment.
