Pay : $24/hr

Schedule : Mon-Fri 2:30p-11p (Training on 1st shift for 2 months)

Job Type : Contract to Permanent

Location : 100% On-Site | Florence, KY

 

At this time, Astrix cannot transfer nor sponsor a work Visa for this position.

QC Lab Technician Daily Tasks: What you will do:

• Perform analytical testing (pH, % alcohol, titrations, spectrometry, turbidity, color values, etc.) and document results to approve or reject product.
• Identify and correct non-conformances, escalating issues to Quality as needed.
• Calibrate lab equipment, prepare solutions, manage samples, and maintain supplies.
• Support investigations by analyzing and collecting data.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, USDA, HACCP, OSHA, and food safety guidelines.
• Participate in required training and maintain strong attendance, flexibility, and a positive team attitude

 

QC Lab Technician Qualifications/Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Chemistry or Laboratory Technique coursework preferred
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in manufacturing operations background (food or chemical preferred)
• 1 year of laboratory experience
• SAP experience is required
