Position Overview We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become a key member of our expanding imaging team, committed to delivering top-notch patient care. You will harness cutting-edge ultrasound technology to execute vital diagnostic procedures, working hand-in-hand with a supportive team of healthcare professionals, all contributing to assignments that provide vital answers to patients. Description of Responsibilities
- Conduct a broad range of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, articulating each step with clarity and empathy
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging
- Efficiently operate and maintain imaging machinery, notifying about malfunctions without delay
- Thoroughly document procedures and sustain patient records within the electronic health record system
- Stay informed of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a comparable field
- Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
- Robust technical proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and optimal patient positioning
