Marketing Operations Specialist - Agile Sprint Support Columbus, OH - Hybrid 4-5-month-contract with possible extension and/or conversion (Leave Coverage) Overview: The Marketing Operations & Agile Support Specialist will provide temporary coverage for a team member on leave of absence. This role will onboard alongside the current sprint lead during August to support knowledge transfer and transition planning, with day-to-day coverage beginning in early September. This person will support Agile marketing operations, sprint facilitation, crossfunctional planning, and execution management across key marketing workstreams. A significant focus of the role will be supporting Agile sprint teams through planning and execution for the Spring '27 season, helping teams remain aligned on priorities, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables. Objectives: This role is responsible for delivering operational excellence within an Agile marketing environment. Working closely with Marketing Operations, Creative, Strategy, Production, Store Experience, Digital Experience, and Channel teams, the contractor will function similarly to an Agile Scrum Master or Project Manager support role. Responsibilities - Supporting and facilitating multiple Agile sprint pods Supporting Spring '27 sprint planning, execution, and retrospective processes Managing key cross-functional marketing calendars and milestone tracking Facilitating alignment between business stakeholders and execution teams Supporting capacity planning, project sizing, and prioritization discussions Escalating risks and timeline concerns proactively Supporting operational consistency and process adoption across marketing teams Services to be Performed: Agile Sprint Support - Coordinate and facilitate assigned Agile sprint pods: managing sprint calendars, clear meeting agendas and objectives and team comms Support sprint planning sessions, attending select standups, work sessions, work in progress leadership reviews, and retrospectives Ensure sprint objectives, deliverables, and timelines remain aligned Identify risks, blockers, capacity constraints, and timeline concerns and elevate appropriately Support continuous improvement of Agile processes and team operating models Clearly communicating upcoming milestones and deadlines and adjust timelines as needed Calendar & Timeline Management - Create and maintain sprint calendars Manage marketing timelines across multiple campaigns and workstreams Coordinate milestones, dependencies, approvals, reviews, and deliverable handoffs Partner with teams to adjust schedules based on business needs and resource capacity Capacity & Resource Planning - Track competing priorities and recommend adjustments when teams become overextended Meeting Facilitation & Communication - Create and distribute agendas, recaps, action items, and project communications Facilitate discussions across Marketing, Creative, Strategy, Operations, Store Experience, Digital, and Production teams Support clear decision-making and accountability across stakeholders Process Improvement & Cross-Functional Partnership - Identify opportunities to improve efficiency across planning and execution workflows Support intake, scoping, and coordination of new initiatives and ad hoc business needs Serve as a cross-functional support partner to help resolve blockers and maintain progress Desired Qualifications: 3-5+ years of Project Management, Program Management, Marketing Operations, Agile Operations, or related experience Experience supporting Agile teams, sprint planning, and cross-functional projects Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously Experience within retail, eCommerce, marketing, creative, or digital organizations preferred Success Measures: Successful transition and continuity during leave coverage Effective management of Spring '27 planning and sprint execution Effective support of Spring '27 planning and sprint execution Proactive identification and resolution of risks and blockers Consistent delivery against key milestones and priorities Operational continuity maintained throughout the engagement period #J-18808-Ljbffr
