This position involves providing specialized perioperative care for patients undergoing complex surgical procedures, including HIPEC, Whipple, trauma, colectomy, and other advanced surgeries. The role requires collaborative teamwork in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment, emphasizing patient safety and quality care. Job Details Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), RN license; pend license okay. Education Requirements: Registered Nurse (RN) license with at least 2 years of recent acute care experience in the specialty. Location: Madison, Wisconsin. Years of Experience: 0 minimum years required. Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS certification, recent 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty. Additional Requirements: Inpatient RN travelers must have inpatient acute care experience in the last 3 years, pass a telemetry exam with strict criteria, and meet proficiency in cardiac rhythm identification. Responsibilities: Providing perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing complex surgeries including laparoscopic and robotic procedures, vascular involvement, and organ procurement. Will assist with specialized procedures involving equipment such as the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, Cautery, and CO2 systems. Float: Float rotation may be required.
