Details Work on a 24-bed Oncology/Women's Surgical unit Day and night shift teams typically include a CNC, 4-6 RNs, and 2 CNAs, with a HUC on days Patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5 Standard unit equipment used, including support for procedures such as pelvic exams, echocardiograms, and thoracentesis Uses Cerner EMR Scheduled shifts run 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM Rare on-call requirements Staff required to work 6 weekend days per schedule Floating may occur to other med-surg units, though rare Requirements Active RN license (NC or Compact) Current BLS certification required Oncology Certified Nurse (ONC) certification required Chemotherapy certification preferred 2 years of recent Oncology nursing experience required No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Provide direct patient care on a busy oncology and women's surgical unit Team environment that values collaboration and willingness to learn Dress code requires navy, white, or a combination of both colors for RNs Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate First-time travelers are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID P-748364.
