Staff AccountantLocation: Daytona Beach, FL (Hybrid)Why This Opportunity Stands Out:Gain direct exposure to ASC 606 revenue accounting and contract analysisWork closely with the Manager of Contract Revenue on monthly close and reporting activitiesDevelop expertise in reconciliations, revenue recognition, and financial reportingParticipate in process improvement and automation initiativesExposure to Workday and other integrated financial systemsOpportunity to contribute to system enhancements and accounting operations projectsKey Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:Prepare account reconciliations and support monthly revenue close activitiesAssist with revenue recognition and contract accounting under ASC 606Prepare journal entries, analyze variances, and research discrepanciesSupport audit requests and financial reporting requirementsAssist with process improvement, automation projects, and accounting system initiativesQualifications for the Staff Accountant:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field1+ years of accounting experienceUnderstanding of accounting principles and month-end close processesExperience with ERP systems, system implementations, process automation, or learning new technologies is highly preferred
