We're looking for a thoughtful, curious, and motivated professional to join our small team as a Personal Trainer & Member Experience Manager. In this role, you'll spend most of your week coaching members through personalized strength training programs and the rest of the week helping create an exceptional member experience, strengthening our community, and improving how our business operates. Who we are: Vitruvian Fitness is an independently owned strength training gym serving the northwest corner of the Denver metro area since 2010. Every member follows an individualized program with professional coaching in a welcoming, small-group environment. Our members come from all walks of life, from experienced athletes pursuing new performance goals to people discovering strength training for the first time. What they share is a desire to build strength, move better, improve their athletic and recreational pursuits, and enjoy active, independent lives. What you'll do: Coach – approximately 23–25 hours/week Guide members through personalized strength training programs. Teach movement with patience, clarity, and attention to detail. Adapt coaching to individual goals, abilities, and needs. Build confidence, encourage progress, and celebrate accomplishments. Collaborate with fellow coaches and continuously develop your skills. Member experience – 15–17 hours/week Welcome new members and help them feel comfortable, informed, and connected. Guide prospective members through their introductory experience and membership decisions. Develop genuine relationships and recognize when members need additional attention or encouragement. Strengthen our community through communication, events, and member recognition. Improve systems for onboarding, follow-up, retention, and member engagement. Track results, identify opportunities, and work with the owner to make our business better. Who thrives here? We're looking for someone who: Cares about people. We welcome candidates from personal training, education, healthcare, hospitality, communications, customer experience, operations, and other people-focused professions. A current NCCA-accredited personal training or strength and conditioning certification is required for independent coaching and must be maintained throughout employment. Qualifying certifications include those from NASM, NSCA, ACSM, and ACE. It’s a bonus if you also possess the CFSC. Compensation and benefits $55,000–$65,000 annual salary, depending on experience and expertise. Quarterly company growth bonus opportunity.
