Registered Nurse - Primary Stroke Unit

This position offers a day shift schedule from 07:00 AM to 07:00 PM.

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Primary Stroke Unit team. The candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment that includes floating to other units and occasional charge nurse responsibilities. Our unit features 34 beds and focuses primarily on stroke and telemetry patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients with stroke and related conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Coordinate patient care with a multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure compliance with all standards and regulations.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license in the state.
• ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale certification, and BLS required.
• Recent clinical experience in acute care or similar settings.
