About the Position

We are seeking a Board-Certified Otolaryngology (ENT) Physician for a locum opportunity in Kearney, NE to provide call coverage at a Level II Trauma Center hospital . The physician will deliver 24-hour ENT call coverage , responding to consults from trauma and emergency department physicians and managing inpatient and surgical ENT cases as needed.

Responsibilities include performing ENT procedures such as adenoidectomy, tonsillectomy, audiograms, and lump/tumor removal , with support from anesthesia, CRNA, and surgical teams . The facility uses EPIC EMR and requires 24/7 ENT coverage to maintain trauma designation. Estimated patient volume is 2–4 cases per day during coverage periods.

Shift Timings:

• 24-Hour On-Call Coverage
• Coverage Dates: Dec 24 @ 7:00 AM – Dec 28 @ 7:00 AM, 2026
• Call-back as required

Requirements

• Board Certified in Otolaryngology (ENT)
• Active Nebraska medical license (or ability to obtain; Compact accepted)
• Active DEA license
• Clean malpractice history
• Self-Query NPDB report (dated within 30 days of presentation)
