Bartender

Our Bartenders are responsible for providing guests with both classic and innovative beverages that will leave a lasting impression, while also providing a warm and welcoming environment. These individuals should be enthusiastic and engaging. This position will report to the Beverage Manager. Responsibilities Prepare beverages for bar and restaurant guests in a fast-paced environment Safely operate juicer, frozen drink machine, and other relevant equipment Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies Stay updated on current menu choices, specialties, and menu deviations of bar menus as well as dining menus Interact with guests, take orders as needed, and serve food and beverages Readily provide drink suggestions based on the guest’s entrée choice, flavor preferences, etc. Transmit orders by recording patrons' choices by position number, identifying patrons' special dietary needs and special requests Obtain revenues by totaling charges; issuing bill; accepting payment; delivering bill and payment to host; returning change or credit card and signature slip to patrons Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies Assist with special events as needed Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently Promptly address customer service issues and refer customers to management when necessary Qualifications Previous bartending experience preferred Previous alcohol training and/or certification a plus Excellent oral communication skills required Positive interpersonal skills required Organizational skills and ability to multitask required Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English Ability to listen Bartender Top Skills & Proficiencies Knowledge of Alcohol Safety Regulations Knowledge of mixology practices, wine and spirit tasting notes, etc. Lifting Verbal and Written Communication Flexibility #J-18808-Ljbffr
