Sage GroupHealthCare Staffing is seeking multiple Travel RN Labor and Delivery for 13-week travel/contract positions in Dallas, TX. Accepting both local and traveler candidates.

ContractLength: 8 weeks with possible extensions. Accepting both local and travelers (those within 60 miles from the facility are considered local)

Pay Rate: Range $2016 to $2340 Weekly Gross pay (Non-taxabletravel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: Labor and Delivery

Shift: 12 hours; Nights, 7.00p - 7.30a

Schedule: 36 hours / week guaranteed, any 3 shifts per week, Weekends as needed, On-call if needed, Holiday coverage may be required

Position Requirements:

• Current Labor & Delivery Nursing experience:2 years - Required
  
• Intermediate or advanced fetal monitoringexperience (within last 2 years) – Required
  
• Prior travel experience: Highly preferred
  
• COVID Vaccinations or exemptions -Required
  
  

Education, Licenseand Certification Requirements:

• ASN - Required
  
• BSN – Preferred
  
• RN License for State of Texas or Compact - Required
  
• BLS Certification from AHA- Required
  
• ACLS Certification from AHSA – Required
  
• NRP Certification - Required
  

Job Description:

• Provides care to assigned patient population in accordance withestablished protocols and multidisciplinary plan of care utilizing independent,dependent, and interdependent interventions to restore stability, preventcomplications, and achieve and maintain optimal patient responses for allpatients through patient centered/patient valued care.
• Performs appropriate patient assessments including continuoussurveillance. Recognizes changes in a patient’s condition and providesappropriate interventions as necessary.
• Consults with other team members as required, notifies providers toreport changes in patient condition and implements orders in a timely manner.
• Exercises independent judgment in providing safe nursing care to thelaboring patient, stable neonate, recovering, ECU and postpartum patient.
• Performs appropriate duties during the laboring process, and delivery,and during the immediate postpartum period.
• Supports breastfeeding and provides education related to newborn.
• Provides safe medication administration
• Maintains accurate and timelyentries and notations in patient care records and hospital documents.
• All other duties within the scope of practice and skillset as assigned.
