Material Handler - Day Shift

Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Location: On-site - Carrollton TX
Shift: 5Am-2pm (OT as needed)
Pay Rate: $16.50 hr

What you'll do

Material Management: Store and issue packaging materials to/from production. Bring components into production rooms from staging areas using FIFO (First In First Out) principles.
Equipment & Line Prep: Assemble, disassemble, clean, and sanitize production equipment. Verify bulk and components against Bills of Material (BOM).
Facility Maintenance: Perform line clearances, maintain a clean/organized workspace (5S), stock cleaning supplies (alcohol, sanitizer, paper towels), and remove trash to dumpsters.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate electric and manual pallet jacks to label and store materials correctly.
Cross-Training: Support and learn machine operator duties to expand your skill set.

What you need

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED; OR 6 months of related experience/training; OR equivalent combination.
Physical Capabilities: Ability to regularly lift 25-50 lbs. Strong vision abilities (close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception).
Key Skills: Good organizational, communication, and basic math skills, with a strong willingness to learn new tasks.
Certifications: Electric/Manual Pallet Jack experience or certification required.
