CNC Operator

Machinist III

We are a small team-oriented manufacturing company in Kent who work in a fast-pace environment. We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined & has an eye for detail. Someone who is dependable, has strong work ethic, can be on their feet all day, & a team player.

Essential Functions

• Deburr parts as required.
• Provide backup and support of all machine shop functions.
• Read, Comprehend and Follow Instructions/Work Orders

Machinist III Requirements

• Set up program and operate CNC machines and tooling in accordance with drawing or program.
• Attention to Details
• Able to Lift up to 50lbs
• Must be a U.S. Citizen (strict NOFORN policy enforced by our Customers)
• Maintain a Positive Attitude
• Able to Work Full Time
• Organized/ Able to Manage Time Efficiently
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Machining Operator Requirements

• One-year work related experience using metal working machinery in a manufacturing environment

The Below Training Will Be Provided

• On-The-Job-Training as it applies to this position

Working Conditions Typically Required

• Exposure to chemicals: Machine Coolants, solvents, oils and Anti-Seize Compounds
• Work with machinery with moving parts
• Occasionally Incurred: Work in heat between 90 100, Exposure to grease/oils
• Occasionally Incurred: Safety Glasses, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

• Use verbal skills to communicate with co-workers
• Contacts typically include: Coworkers within the same department, Coworkers in other departments, Mid-management level employees
• Math Skills: Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, ratios, Trigonometry, algebra, validity, etc.
