HR Specialist

AP Executive Staffing is partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization in the Buffalo area to hire an experienced HR Specialist to join their team. Key Responsibilities: Support employee relations matters and respond to employee questions and concerns professionally and confidentially Assist with workplace investigations, policy interpretation, and HR compliance initiatives Manage and track leave administration processes and related documentation Support benefits‑related compliance, including ACA and ERISA requirements Maintain accurate HR records and documentation Partner cross‑functionally to support employee engagement and workplace culture initiatives Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations Preferred Background: 5+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably focused on employee relations and compliance Experience using ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS systems Strong understanding of employment law, HR compliance, and leave administration processes Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of an organization Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset in a fast‑paced environment Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word #J-18808-Ljbffr
