Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.**WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:*** Install and test electrical/electronic systems, circuits, and equipment.* Install wireways, conduits, and cable trays in accordance with NEC requirements and customer specifications.* Perform simple utility wire connections and understand electrical circuits.* Read blueprints and perform conduit threading.* Ensure tools are in good working condition.* Train and mentor employees on your shift.* Keep work areas clean and organized to ensure a safe environment.* Prevent workplace injuries by following safety protocols and attending safety meetings.* High school diploma or GED preferred.* 3 years of experience or more preferred* Ability to read electrical drawings and blueprints.* Electrical wiring and cable routing experience* Prior experience in panel, switchgear, and equipment installation* Vocational/technical degree in electricity or equivalent experience.* Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).* Experience with commercial and industrial equipment, MCCs, substation switchgear, and variable frequency drives.- A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day * nVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
