Training Manager

General Description: Responsible for developing training solutions based on organizational needs and identified weaknesses. Design, create, deliver, and manage learning solutions for the Company. Responsibilities: Accountable for full-cycle recruitment, management, and development of assigned team. Includes performance management, setting priorities, developing work plans and schedules, and approval of timecards and expense reports. Develop and prepare training materials and update as needed. Manage various course design projects as the subject matter expert (SME). Collaborate with other process owners or SMEs to create relevant content for internal training. Includes courseware and certification programs. Lead the delivery of training programs and sessions in a variety of formats. Includes in-classroom, web-based, technical materials, and blended learning environments. Design and develop dynamic instructional interactions and simulations to create engaging course content. Evaluate existing training solutions. Utilize improvement methodologies to enhance them. Write and edit audio voice-over scripts for e-learning as needed. Provide recommendations to make courses and instructional design more efficient and effective. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 5 years + relevant insurance industry experience. College degree in related field preferred. Broad knowledge of Wholesale or Retail Insurance and office automation applications. Working knowledge of internet-based programs and Microsoft Office suite, including Excel. Strong project management and presentation skills. Ability to drive results. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to convey complex information to a wide variety of audiences. Includes small and large group settings with employees, mid-level managers, and senior leaders. Ability to maintain confidential information.
