Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:

The Cath Lab Tech is responsible for providing specialized vascular and cardiac imaging and interventions in the cath lab setting. The role supports diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to ensure patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform vascular and cardiac catheterization procedures with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
• Operate and maintain specialized imaging equipment used in the cath lab.
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures, ensuring smooth workflow.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any complications during procedures.
• Ensure proper documentation of procedures, findings, and patient information.
• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control standards, and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT or RCIS certification required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a cath lab technologist or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
• Excellent technical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
