Senior Consultant

The Senior Consultant will provide Business Analyst and Testing Leadership to a large state healthcare IT project, providing expertise, knowledge, and experience to the client and other team members. The Senior Consultant will work to ensure that the client’s business needs are met by assessing if the project artifacts meet the client’s requirements as well as providing valuable business subject matter expertise through consultation with the client. The candidate will lead User Acceptance Testing for the project and provider Medicaid consulting expertise. In addition, the candidate will work directly with the contracted vendors, business users and the client to provide recommendations to the project team on project issues, risks, and observations. Job Responsibilities Include:• Provide support for all phases of the project• Serve as the lead for one or more project components• Lead User Acceptance Testing• Verify and assess vendor compliance with project level requirements.• Review and assess project documents and plans for quality, completeness, compliance, and effectiveness• Review major deliverables and work products from vendors• Identify and report project issues and risks• Participate in the verification of evidence and artifacts as required • Attend project and status meetings• Interface with client, vendors, and business users• Research and provide recommendations to the client on critical business decisions• Collaborate with other team members to provide subject matter expertise and assistance as applicable• Ensure that all project identified processes and methodologies are executed and followed as applicable• Perform periodic assessment activities with focus on requirements traceability and testing• Assess and validate testing methods employed by vendors and the client’s project teams • Assess the coverage and integrity of testingRequired Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of total work experience; or 14+ years of total work experience without a bachelor’s degree• Minimum 8 years’ experience with large government, IT Projects• Minimum 5+ years performing Testing for Medicaid Enterprise Systems• Proven System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Management knowledgePreferred Skills:• Proven System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Management knowledge• Minimum 5+ years leading User Acceptance activities for Medicaid Enterprise SystemsFor Colorado CandidatesIn compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rules, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. For a candidate in the state of Colorado only, the starting pay range for this role is $106,000 to 150,000. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including actual work location, relevant experience (internal or external), technical skills, and other qualifications.
