The D&R (Design & Release) Engineer is responsible to design, develop, validate and release parts under his/her responsibility for the assigned programs. Look for design improvements to increase quality and cost / weight optimization. Design parts in order to comply with Corporate and Local Requirements for parts validation, considering the WCR (Worldwide Customers Requirements), ES (Engineering Specifications) and SDS (Systems Design specifications) as well as the Manufacturing and Assembly requirements. This position is a salary grade 7-8 and ranges from $86,600 - $166,200. Support the Change Control Meeting.Audit and update BOM (Bill of Material) with correct part levels and usage, for prototype builds and maintain it post Job 1.Be aware of Worldwide Engineering changes and proceed accordinglyIdentify validation, durability and functional test required as per SDS & ES.
