About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 18:45 - 07:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: Must have valid RN license in Iowa Certifications: Mandatory reporter certification required (Child and Adult), BLS required Must-Have: Background check clearance, drug test clearance, titers within last 12 months (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB), acute experience preferred Description: Patient population primarily consists of adults. 36 or 48-hour guarantee can be accommodated; please indicate preference. Onboarding requirements include a background check that covers criminal and child abuse portions. All background checks must be fully cleared prior to starting. No instant or statewide searches will be accepted. A drug test must be a 10-panel screening, including opiates. Titers must be completed within the last 12 months. Willingness to start on a Monday or Tuesday is preferred. Unit specializes in acute rehabilitation. Patient ratios are 1 RN to 6 patients. Common diagnoses include neurological conditions, trauma, burns, and wound care management. Lift equipment is available. Experience in MedSurg or Long-Term Acute Care is preferred but not mandatory. Must possess experience in acute care settings. Personality fit is emphasized for the role. Dress code is scrubs, with any color acceptable. Unacceptable attire includes any clothing not fitting within the scrub criteria.
