Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | Sunday–Saturday | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the cardiovascular operating room setting
• Assist with robotic cardiac surgical procedures
• Support general OR cases as needed in addition to CVOR caseload
• Participate in standby/on-call coverage, including 2 weekend shifts and approximately 5 weekday call shifts per month, beginning at shift end through the following day
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes throughout perioperative care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (Temporary or Permanent) required at time of submission
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required – must be American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum 1.5 years of continuous experience in CVOR or cardiac OR specialty
• Cardiac surgical experience, including robotic cardiac procedures, is required
• Experience in the general OR is required
• EPIC EMR experience, or combined EPIC/Cerner experience, within the last 6 months of work history

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum 1 year of total travel nursing experience, with at least 6 months of continuous travel experience leading up to submission
• Supervisory-level professional reference available upon submission
