- Responsible for the repair and maintenance of Diesel Heavy Equipment for the construction industry.
- Ability to effectively evaluate mechanical and/or electrical equipment, recommend and perform appropriate, cost-effective, quality repairs and maintenance.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Knowledge of gas/diesel/LP engines, batteries, fuel systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical.
- Engaging in welding and fabrication tasks as required.
- Ability to read schematics, maps, blueprints and manuals.
- Documenting repairs and preparing work orders.
- PC literate and great customer service skills.
- Valid Driver's license and CDL a plus!
- Ability to lift 75 pounds
Experience
- 2-5 years of experience working on hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems or heavy equipment maintenance experience preferred
