Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Step-down/ICU experience Description: This is an extension position. The role requires an RN specializing in progressive care. The unit consists of 22 beds with a patient ratio of 4:1. Patients include those recovering from cardiac procedures. Experience with telemetry is necessary. The position involves caring for adults, specifically post-cardiac catheter lab patients and those undergoing cardioversions. The ideal candidate should be team-oriented with good communication skills. Flexibility in scheduling is essential. The dress code includes navy scrubs, and offensive tattoos are not permitted. This position is for a variable shift with weekend hours required every other weekend. There are no call requirements for this role. Candidates are expected to float as needed.
