Qualification: Licensed from the State to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse Observe students on a regular basis to detect health needs Administer medication and treatment prescribed by physicians, including tracheostomy maintenance Assemble and use such equipment as catheters, tracheostomy tubes, and oxygen suppliers Sterilize equipment and supplies Administer first aid in accordance with established first aid procedures Attend clinical meetings on behalf of students to help plan treatments needed at school Assist school personnel in maintaining sanitary standards in schools Use various software packages for communication and documentation purposes Implement, model and train others in the use of universal precautions Maintain regular consistent attendance and punctuality Adhere to district health and safety procedures Adhere to Board Policies Maintain confidentiality Previous experience working children with disabilities Genuine enthusiasm, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills An ability to work on and be a contributor to a highly professional team Evidence of high standards of ethics, honesty, and integrity in personal and professional matters Possess high levels of flexibility Other duties may be assigned Reports to: Assistant Superintendent for Student Services and RN Start Date: Immediately Rate of Pay: POSITION DETAILS : Full-time (school year) for the 2022/23 school year and beyond Hours: 32 -40 hours per week (school day schedule) Pay: $19.51 - $24.32 per hour Benefits: Single Subscriber health insurance or cash in lieu Physical Setting - School Building/School Bus Schedule - 8 hour shift Work Location - One assigned location with flexibility to support Evaluation As outlined in the I.U.O.E. contract Terms of Employment As outlined in the I.U.O.E. contract WHO ARE WE?
