Orthopedic Surgeon – Alexandria, VA Health Care Recruitment Counselors is recruiting an Orthopedic Surgeon to serve our Northern Virginia medical practices. The role requires surgical privileges and board certification in general orthopedics. The surgeon will participate in an integrated musculoskeletal practice focused on diagnosis and treatment of patients injured in motor vehicle accidents and work‑related injuries. Additional internal specialties include neurology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, internal medicine, primary care, and chiropractic/physical therapy. In‑house services include physical therapy, chiropractic, aquatic therapy, electrodiagnostic, interventional pain management and radiography. Offices are located in Alexandria, Woodbridge, and other Northern Virginia sites with a potential coverage requirement of once per month at Richmond. Job Duties Provide quality patient care and management. Recommend and conduct diagnostic testing to determine extent of injury and appropriate treatment. Oversee diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries. Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury. Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reporting. Perform orthopedic surgery with surgical privileges at surrounding hospitals. Collaborate with colleagues and staff for comprehensive patient care. Uphold the company’s mission to provide exceptional patient care aligned with business objectives. Requirements MD/DO from an accredited institution. Unrestricted medical license in the State of Virginia. Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery (general orthopedics). Favorable malpractice history. Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification. DEA license. Schedule Full time Salary $450k–$520k annually. Benefits Company‑paid malpractice insurance. PTO and paid holidays.
