Get to Know Your Team: Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology, and oncology services. Explore Career Pathways for Pharmacy Professionals: Responsibilities The clinical pharmacist optimizes patient care by providing appropriate, safe, and cost-effective pharmaceutical care, including drug dispensing, IV admixture program, and providing drug information. Works under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and/or the Pharmacy Operations Manager and will oversee the work of pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff. Qualifications Job Requirements: B.S. or Pharm D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy. Clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting. Completion of an accredited PGY-1 Pharmacy residency or fellowship. OR 2+ years of clinical pharmacy experience with no history of residency or fellowship. An active Pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy. Other applicable state requirements - i.e., sterile compounding, etc. BLS & ALS/ACLS certification. BLS required within 90 days of hire; ALS/ACLS required for attending Code Blue. Preferred Job Requirements: Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy. #J-18808-Ljbffr
