About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (3 or 4 shifts per week) Experience: Preferred acute care facility experience License: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required. Must-Have: Recent experience in telemetry nursing Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines. Utilizes critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment. Collects relevant data pertinent to patients' health or situations. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develops a care plan that prescribes interventions to achieve outcomes. Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward achieving outcomes. Identifies outcomes for patients and their situations. Collaborates with the team, patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide care in a safe and humane environment. Provides learning opportunities for patients, family members, and team members. Directly provides health information to patients and families. Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Commits to the safety and wellbeing of all associates and patients.
