Sales Engineer - Critical Power

Base pay range $120,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Venda Search Senior Consultant - Critical Power | Infrastructure - USA Power the systems that keep society running - from power plants and substations to water treatment and heavy manufacturing, you’ll design and sell industrial-grade UPS and critical power solutions that protect multi-million-dollar assets in the harshest environments. Impact that matters: Your designs keep grids stable, water flowing, and factories safe. Serious engineering: Work with double-conversion, rotary, flywheel, and DC UPS; integrate with generators, ATS/STS, switchgear, and SCADA. Big, complex projects: Multi-site programs with long lifecycles, service revenue, and repeat business. Growth path: Clear progression to Senior Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Sales Manager, with ongoing technical training and certifications. Responsibilities: Conduct site surveys and develop tailored UPS solutions for industrial and utility environments. Provide technical pre-sales support, including system sizing, redundancy design, and battery selection. Collaborate with project delivery teams to ensure seamless integration with generators, switchgear, and control systems. Prepare proposals, RFP responses, and technical presentations. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (NERC/FERC, IEEE, NEC). Requirements: Degree or background in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. Experience in UPS, switchgear, or critical power systems. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
