Bellevue Animal Hospital is looking for a Lead Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) ready to take the next step in their career and make an impact on patient care, team development, and hospital efficiency.

In this role, you'll:

• Lead surgical and dental workflows
• Calculate, prepare, and monitor anesthesia
• Assist with surgical procedures and dental radiography
• Provide exceptional patient care from induction through recovery
• Mentor and support fellow technicians
• Identify and improve team workflows
• Build trust with clients through confident admissions and discharges

Schedule and compensation:

• Compensation: $34-39 per hour, for each hour worked
• This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday with rotating Saturdays.

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

• 5+ years of veterinary technician experience
• Active and good-standing Licensed Veterinary Technician in the state of Washington **
• Proficiency in the following skills:
• Patient assessment, nursing care, and monitoring
• Anesthetic induction, monitoring, and recovery
• Surgical assistance and aseptic technique
• Dental prophylaxis and dental radiography
• Medication administration and accurate drug calculations
• Client education and communication
• Experience training team members
• Improving workflows and implementing SOPs
• Effective teamwork and professional communication skills

**Recent graduates pending VTNE testing and licensure, or out-of-state license-holders who are eligible to transfer a license, are also encouraged to apply
