Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for a Med-Surg/Post-Op RN!

Job Description:

- Shift: Nights, Monday to Friday, with 3x12 hr shifts (36 hrs/week)
- Floating Requirement: Must float across campus to multiple locations
- Patient Care: Work with a diverse patient population including med surg post-op and spine care
- Unit Details:
- 30 Bed Unit
- Nurse to Patient Ratio: Days - 1:5, Nights - 1:6
- Required experience in heparin drips
- Experience Requirements:
- 24 months of med surg/medical surgical experience in a hospital or medical center
- Strong background in post-op/operation surgical care
- Minimum of 3 months current travel experience within the last 12 months
- Must have spine care experience
- Proficiency in EPIC EMR is essential
- Licensure:
- Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate
- Certifications:
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- Orientation Date: 10/12
- Holiday Commitment: Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Winter holidays unless the unit is closed
