PHYSICAL THERAPIST - PART TIME

Tri-State Physical Therapy (TSPT), a division of Tri-State Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist at our Seven Fields location.

Founded in 2005, TSPT provides a full range of musculoskeletal rehab, including physical, occupational and hand therapy services, to ensure quality and comprehensive rehabilitative care for our patients. With a high volume of patient referrals from the orthopaedic surgeons at Tri-State Orthopaedics, our therapists dedicate the majority of their time to patient care, not marketing. This coordination and continuity of care, with close and constant communication among our physicians and therapists, helps to enhance our patients' recovery process.

TSPT has five convenient office locations in the Pittsburgh area. We also offer a variety of Sports Performance/Injury Prevention services for athletes, including student athletes in addition to injured workers, weekend warriors and our Medicare-aged seniors. You will be responsible for providing the professional duties of a therapist, which include but are not limited to:

• Providing physical therapy services, including patient evaluations and follow-up treatment. Developing the plan of care and revising, as necessary.
• Assisting in returning patients to an optimum and productive level within the patient's capabilities.
• Consulting with physicians regarding progress and change in treatment and assisting physician with evaluating level of function with the goal to achieve maximum function for every patient.
• Performing skilled evidence-based procedures as ordered by the treating physician.
• Preparing daily clinical notes and routine progress reports. Proficient with EMR.
• Instructing patients and family regarding in-home exercise programs and activities of daily living.
