Part-Time Transportation Driver

Cedar Hills Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is a resident-centered and quality-focused skilled nursing and rehabilitation center dedicated to providing compassionate care and creating a supportive environment for both residents and staff.

We are currently seeking a dependable and compassionate Part-Time Transportation Driver to join our team. In this role, you will help ensure our residents have safe, reliable transportation to medical appointments, community events, and other activities.

What You’ll Do

• Provide safe and reliable transportation for residents to medical appointments, community events, and other scheduled activities.

• Confirm resident appointments and transportation needs with physicians' offices and other providers.

• Coordinate transportation schedules and communicate arrangements with residents, families, and appropriate staff members.

• Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle safely.

• Ensure the transportation vehicle is clean, safe, and properly prepared before each trip.

• Follow all applicable safety procedures and facility transportation policies.

• Maintain accurate transportation records and schedules.

• Complete clerical duties related to administrative transfers and discharges as needed.

• Provide courteous, respectful, and compassionate service to residents and their families.

What You’ll Need

• Valid state driver's license with no more than three (3) entries , including accidents, moving violations, and failures to appear.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

• Dependable attendance and a strong sense of responsibility.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to interact professionally and compassionately with residents, families, and staff.

• Commitment to providing safe, respectful, and reliable transportation.
