Accounts Payable Accounting Clerk

This position is for an Accounts Payable Accounting Clerk for Nevada's largest healthcare provider, The Valley Health System, a Universal Health Services company. This includes 8 hospitals throughout Las Vegas region and Northern and Western Nevada, Free Standing ER's, physician practices, and surgical centers. The work environment is a energetic fast-paced/fast-growing dynamic setting. Job duties include sorting invoices daily into appropriate queues, scanning, indexing and keying for payment, creating manual checks, working invoice discrepancies, working with vendors and company buyers to address any aged invoices.

Qualifications: Education: Associates degree in Accounting preferred but not required. Experience: Ideal candidate will have one to two years accounts payable experience. Technical skills: Computer proficiency to include word processing, spreadsheet, database, and patient accounting system. Proficient in use of 10-key. Other: Critical thinking skills, team player attitude, and always striving to improve the process.
