Ultrasound Technologist (General & Vascular)

Located at Burlington, this community-based hospital offers a patient-focused environment. The collaborative imaging team has access to additional regional support.

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist with strong General and Vascular ultrasound experience. This role involves both in-department and portable imaging, supporting a variety of patient populations in a dynamic clinical setting.

The unit has two ultrasound rooms and performs portable exams throughout the hospital. The patient ratio is 1:1, and the team is supported by sonographers and a leadership team.

Patient populations include OB (Obstetrics), general ultrasound cases, and a variety of inpatient and outpatient imaging needs.

Required qualifications include a minimum of 1 year of Ultrasound experience and no first-time travelers accepted.

Certifications required are BLS (Basic Life Support), ARDMS - Vascular, and ARDMS - General or ARDMS - OB/GYN.

Required skills include strong experience in General ultrasound, Vascular studies, and OB imaging, with the ability to perform both routine and portable exams independently.

Support and resources include a team of sonographers, an on-site supervisor, and additional support from the regional team (Southern Lakes).

Technology and equipment include EMR: EPIC and Ultrasound Equipment: Philips machines (preferred experience).

There is no departmental floating required, but portable exams throughout the hospital are performed.

Facility/unit-based orientation is provided.

Shift options (Monday-Friday) include 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, and 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM. Weekend requirement is call only (1:4 rotation). On-call requirements include 1 weekday call shift per week, every 4th weekend call, and a 45-minute response time required. Holiday requirement is every other holiday.

Scrub color is any professional color, parking is free on-site, and the work environment is supportive, team-oriented with a consistent weekday schedule and structured call rotation.
