Title: General Warehouse Worker
Type: Temporary to Permanent
Pay : $16.50 / hour
Shift: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Location: Solon
POSITION SUMMARY: Position will help with various general warehouse activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- History of strong job attendance and commitment
- 3 months or more of experience working in a warehouse environment preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prior experience with scanners, inventory software, work orders a plus but not required
- Capable of heavy lifting, 50+ pounds at times
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Safety conscious
- Good team player
- Backgrounds: no felony theft, violence, or drug related charges; other background issues are considered on a case by case basis
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or equivalent
LANGUAGE SKILLS: English - fluent
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Basic math
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Standing, walking – 95%. Sitting – 5%.
- Heavy lifting, 50+ pounds at times
