Immediate need for a talented Echocardiographer (Echo Tech). This is a 03+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Cumming, GA (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $50 - $55/hour. Benefits; Travel Pay package

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echoes, and other cardiac ultrasound procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and ensure comfort and safety.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, adjusting settings to optimize image quality.
• Recognize normal and abnormal cardiac anatomy and hemodynamics during scans.
• EMR and communicate results to interpreting physicians. Document findings accurately in
• Collaborate with cardiologists and nursing staff to prioritize urgent studies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment following infection control standards.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Must have skills: - Echocardiographer, Echo Tech, RDCS, CCI, BLS
• Graduate from an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology (registered or registry eligible)
• Active RDCS or CCI certification (required)
• AHA BLS certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience within echocardiography specialty
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR system
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, pathology, and ultrasound physics
• Ability to work 10-hour day shifts (7am5:30pm or 7:30am6pm), schedule varies
• No local candidates within 50 miles
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Strong communication and patient bedside manner
• Ability to work independently and prioritize in a busy cardiology setting
• Proficient in digital image storage and retrieval (PACS)
• Commitment to diagnostic excellence and patient safety
• Consistent 10-hour day shifts with guaranteed 40 hours per week
