Pay and Benefits

• Pay Range = $28.07 - $41.36 based on mechanical and electrical skills and experience.
\n
• Schedule is Monday – Friday 2:00 – 10:00PM. Hours are subject to change based on business needs.
\n

• PCA provides paid training to help technicians advance through skill levels and achieve higher pay.

• Technicians supply their own basic hand tools. PCA provides a tool stipend (or replacement) to help technicians maintain basic hand tools. PCA provides all special or heavy tools.

• PCA provides Safety shoes and Safety Glass stipends

Responsibilities

\n
• This position is based at the PCA Seattle Plant located in Algona, Washington.
\n
• This position will perform a variety of maintenance tasks including diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and Pneumatic systems on plant equipment.
\n
• Technicians work as part of a team to safely perform Preventive Maintenance Activities as well as answer breakdown calls in a Production Environment.
\n
• All Maintenance Technician positions are multi-craft, and training is provided to develop these skills.
\n
• The production schedule is 3 shifts. Maintenance Technicians are placed on shifts according to plant needs and seniority. Opportunities to change shifts are available when organization changes occur or production schedules change.
\n

Basic Qualifications

\n
• Read and write in English
\n
• High School Diploma or GED
\n
• Basic computer skills
\n
• 2+ Years’ experience in successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
\n
• Must provide own tools. PCA will provide specialized tools.
\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n
• A Technical Degree in the Mechanical or Electrical Trades is a plus.
\n
• Experience in the Corrugated Packaging or Printing Industry is a plus.
\n

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Starting salary for position: $28.07 to $41.36 per hour based on mechanical and electrical skills and experience.  
\n
• Bonus: Annual – Based upon achievement of plant performance metrics.
\n
