Position: MRI Technologist

Shift Details

This position is for a night shift, consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting MRI examinations while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans on various body parts, including extremities, abdomen, spine, pelvis, head, chest, and musculoskeletal regions.
• Administer and manage contrast media as necessary during procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including radiation safety procedures.
• Work independently, requiring minimal supervision, especially during weekend shifts.
• Assist with patient transport and manage orders related to MRI procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Current certifications in BLS and ARRT MR.
• Active Washington State License.
• Proficiency in using Siemens MRI equipment, specifically the Siemens Magnetom Aera.
• Must possess the ability to perform X-ray procedures as required.

Work Environment

The MRI Technologist will operate in a collaborative environment, primarily working independently on weekends with an assistant. The average caseload is expected to be 6-9 exams per day. The position requires flexibility and adaptability, as there may be a need to float between nearby facilities.

Patient Care Details

• Daily responsibilities include managing patient exams and ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Support interdisciplinary collaboration to address diverse patient needs.

Additional Information

All requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application. Candidates are required to work during designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day).
